The Route

FROM LEEDS
TO Guinea

10,000+ km. Seven countries. Three regions.

The UK2WestAfrica route stretches from Yorkshire to the Fouta Djallon highlands of Guinea — an overland motorcycle journey across Europe, North Africa, and West Africa.

The Journey

A CONTINENT BY MOTORCYCLE

The expedition begins in Leeds and travels overland through mainland Europe before crossing to Africa by ferry at Tangier. From Morocco the route pushes south through the Sahara into Mauritania, along the Senegalese coast, and finally into Guinea.

The Guinean leg concludes in the Fouta Djallon highlands with the five-stage adventure rally centred on the region around Mamou.
